New update doesn’t work at all. Highway robbery at its finest… Release a fix or I will be seeking a full refund.

This new update (1.0.3, I believe) is HORRIBLE! It will not allow me to load any game saves. WHY did you release this!? I had no problems before and now I have innumerable hours lost, unless you (Rockstar or Apple) fix this. Please fix this catastrophic bug. Please! ***UPDATE*** SERIOUSLY!!! Is anyone even looking to fix this bug? This is complete crap. HOW ABOUT A WAY TO DOWNGRADE BACK TO Version 1.0.2 !? Come on guys, get your crap together and do something!!!

This game was great until this last update release. Now it wont let me get past the beginning movies without crashing. If you want to buy, wait until the next update. BOO :(

I am having the same problem you may see in the ther reviews, after I updated i am no longer able to access my saved game this is what it says unhandled page fault on write access to 0x00000000 at address 0x00467c5f. do you wish to debug

Since updating to this latest update, I have not been able to load the game save I was using prior to the update. After the loading screen, the game goes black and I have to force quit to get out of it. Please fix this! :(

Work normally until I choose > Start Game > Load Game, shows load screen with progress bar, completes then Black Screen. All my saved games result in same error: load screen completes, black screen, stalled. Occassionaly the game crashes with this error screen: "Exception raised Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000014. Do you wish to debug it?” Yes, we do wish it to be debugged. Rockstar, PLEASE DEBUG.

Just adding my voice to the thousands here who had the same horrible experience with this update …  I updated GTA San Andreas the day it was released, and upon launching the app everything seemed normal, until I tried to load a saved game … That’s when the black-screen of death appeared. The game app froze the entire OS and left me staring at a black screen … I had to restart the computer manually … Of course, my first thought was that this was a minor hiccup, so I tried it again … and again … and again … Each time I got the exact same result. Any attempt to load a saved game, no matter which saved game, resulted in a crash. What’s up Rockstar?

honestly it worked fantastic till this update. but the same thing that happened to greatcow95 happened to me and I dont won to over ride it becouse I worked hard and have 65 milllion plus on it with most of the land unlocked.

Great game but very frustrated with the most recent update. Have countless hours in the game over the past 6 months. Rockstar recently sent out a minor update to fix bugs. Well, turned out the so called update removed a dozen songs from the game and introduced a new bug that prevents saved games from the previous version from loading. Tech support runs me in circles having me do things that doesn’t make any sense towards fixing the problem (I’m a Software Developer). Seems instead like they’re trying to tire me out so I just give up on gettin it fixed. Shame on you Rockstar for crapping on your customers.

didnt really see any problem with the previous version, but after updating to the new version none of my old files would load and the only way to play would have been to start all over again. luckily i had 1.0.2 on a previous backup of my computer so now im using that again and all is good… except for this update

This is one of my favorite GTA games of all time. The cheats are a blast, the map is huge. I mean the graphics arent what they should be, but in a way it’s a nice sentimental throwback. However, with the most recent update I have found that I can’t even play from any of my game saves. My computer just says it found something wrong and then asks me if I want to debug it. If you click yes, then all the of the windows disappear and the whole application quits. This makes it impossible to play the game, and seeing as though this game costs money, that could be viewed as theft. So if I was Rockstar, I’d probably give this game some deserved attention. Please fix it, GTA is one of the only games that I can play over and over again. Yall have a good niche here… dont lose it to Watch Dogs.

DONT UPDATE and If you dont have it DONT BUY THIS GAME. They messed it up with the update. Searching for downgrade now. UPGRADE RUINED GAME

I’ve had this app for 3 years and I haven’t had a problem with it until now. The most recent update is not in effect at all. When I try to open a saved game the screen turns black and it freezes my laptop. Please fix this now.

I love this game. It is my favorite game of all time, actually and I am SO MAD that the new update won’t let me play my saved game files. I got even madder after reading all of the reviews on here and all of the frustration that people have encountered with Rockstar regarding this issue. Obviously it’s a widespread problem! Absolutely ridiculous. Fix this!

Why did you break it? make it so I can play from my save please.

This game runned perfecly in my computer until I installed this update. The game starts but when it loads a dark screen appears and never goeas away. I think suing Rockstar might be in order unless they give me a refund or a new update that actually allows me to play the game as normal. The update was supposed to take away some songs !!! This isnt necessary, I want the full game not a game without its original characteristics.

I had completed the game at 88%, but the new update killed it. Everytime I try to reload the old save file, the screen would just go black. I kind of quit the game and don’t even have it anymore, and it needs to be fixed. Or you could just give us Mac users something that is actually good and give us GTA 4 or 5

This is not an update, this is an “End of Life” for this game! WHERE IS MY REFUND?!?! Nothing else to say…

This is a horrible update. The game does not work anymore. Please make an update that actually fixes the game!

I just think its messed up how the update has been out for over a month and you havent bothered to fix the update. Thats all i have to say.
