Black Screen

I’v had this game for a while now, and for some reason there is a continuous black screen. I get to the main menu, and i click play, it loads, then there is jsut a black screen. I press command q, nothing works I keep doing that and nothing happenes. I have to turn my laptop off by hold down the power button, and people say thats very bad but there is no other way for me to quit the game. I tryed play a new game but the same black screen keeps coming up. I upgraded my RAM and it still gives me the black screen. At this point im just going to delete this game and play sleeping dogs.
